About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior People Partner (Senior HR Business Partner) to lead our International People Partner team—across EMEA and APJ. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the trusted partner to our General Manager, EMEA, and a key thought partner to the broader regional leadership team.

You’ll shape and execute people strategies to accelerate business outcomes, support our scale through significant growth, and foster a culture of experimentation and adaptability—including exploring the thoughtful use of AI to evolve how we work. This is a unique opportunity to lead with impact, influence at the executive level, and build the future of our international people strategy.

This role is based in our Dublin office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

You’ll lead with curiosity, agility, and a bias toward action—balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution. With a forward-looking mindset, you’ll explore how emerging practices, including the thoughtful use of AI, can enhance the way we support leaders, make decisions, and scale our impact. Specifically you will:

  • Architect and drive regional organizational design, change initiatives, and employee engagement strategies in close partnership with leadership.
  • Identify and lead forward-looking talent strategies across EMEA and International locations, proactively surfacing organizational needs and delivering solutions to enable scale, adaptability, and innovation.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of three international People Partners, while collaborating with the global People Partner team to support managers and employees across regions.
  • Leverage people analytics and apply a learning mindset toward AI to surface insights, identify trends, and shape strategies that support talent growth, performance, and retention.
  • Execute key people programs (e.g., compensation reviews, feedback cycles, engagement surveys, and development initiatives) in partnership with Centers of Excellence, continuously looking for ways to improve effectiveness and scale.
  • Coach and advise senior leaders, acting as a trusted partner in their personal and professional growth and serve as a catalyst for leadership effectiveness and team success.
  • Support and stay connected with local People team members (e.g., TA, Ops), offering mentorship, alignment, and guidance during complex situations or when additional coordination is needed.

About you:

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 6+ years as a people partner or equivalent; experience working in Ireland and the DACH region is essential.
  • You think strategically and are curious about how new tools—including AI—can elevate the role of People Partners and improve how we support our leaders and teams.
  • Deep experience across core HR disciplines including organizational design and effectiveness, change management, performance management, leadership coaching, learning and development, total rewards, and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills—with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • A data-informed decision-maker and pragmatic problem solver who identifies root causes and drives alignment to address them.
  • Skilled at navigating competing priorities, balancing multiple stakeholders, and adjusting focus in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Comfortable making thoughtful decisions without full consensus, while maintaining strong relationships and clear rationale.
  • Experience working with global business teams is a plus.

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
