Inventory Supervisor

What You’ll Do
Location: Mesa, Onsite 5 Days/Week
Reports to: Senior Manager, Assets Reliability

• Supervise day-to-day inventory operations for the Spare Parts Store across one or more locations
• Oversee receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of parts
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of high-turnover (fast mover) and critical parts
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks of shortages, or overstock
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement teams to align part availability with operational needs
• Ensure accurate data entry and inventory transactions in the CMMS or ERP system (e.g., UpKeep)
• Implement FIFO practices, proper labeling, binning, and inventory zoning for maximum efficiency
• Develop and monitor KPIs for inventory accuracy, order fulfillment time, and stock availability
• Lead and coach a team of inventory clerks or technicians
• Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize space utilization, inventory cost, and turnaround time
• Champion safety and 5S best practices within the parts storage and handling areas
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes for parts and material replenishment
• Assist in vendor communication and returns processing when necessary

What You Bring
• GED, High School Diploma, or Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, material flow, and supply chain operations
• Experience with ERP/CMMS software (SAP, Oracle, UpKeep, or similar platforms)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite for reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S practices (certification is a plus)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse or production setting
