Your Impact

As Strategic Sourcing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of materials and components required for our growing production. You will manage daily procurement operations, develop supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective purchasing strategies. What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute the end-to-end purchasing process for production materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the product development team early in the development cycle to identify suitable suppliers and sourcing strategies.
  • Coordinate with planning, warehouse, finance, and quality teams to ensure material availability and compliance.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and implement cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the digitalization and optimization of procurement tools and ERP processes.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in supplier management.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and procurement workflows.
  • Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Work Location: This role is based out of our Kassel office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

Don’t meet every single requirement? That's ok. At Axon, we Aim Far. We think big with a long-term view because we want to reinvent the world to be a safer, better place. We are also committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.

If you’re excited about this role and our mission to Protect Life but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification listed here, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
